Delivery Charge

Diesel Fuel Prices have increased 55% in the first quarter of 2008, and are expected to continue to rise throughout the summer. As you might imagine, this unprecedented rise has had a dramatic effect on our company’s costs both in our own fuel expenses and in fuel surcharges added by our vendors. Over the past 6 months, we have not had a delivery charge.

Due to the changes in diesel fuel prices, it is necessary for us to add a charge effective July 28th, 2008. At the current average of $4.72 on July 9th (see www.transportlink.com for Department of Energy published weekly national averages), our delivery charge will be $12 per delivery. We will adjust our delivery charge at the beginning of each month based on this national average and will adjust either upward or downward depending on price changes. Delivery charges will be based on the following schedule.

Thank you for understanding. If you have any questions, please discuss with your local sales representative or branch contact.
