Smart Products at Comfort Supply

From smartphones and smart TVs to smart light bulbs and smart locks, Internet-connected devices have become a normal part of our daily lives. Honeywell claims that over 70 percent of houses in the U.S. have Wi-Fi and that Internet-connected thermostats will quadruple in sales by 2020. Ruud reports that over 65 percent of a home’s energy usage goes to heating, cooling and water heating. With these figures in mind, we believe in providing the best products for our contractors. Currently, we have two Wi-Fi enabled products that make controlling a home’s HVAC needs easier and more efficient for the customer.

The Honeywell Wireless Thermostat System can work with a variety of systems ranging from oil, gas, electric and heat pump. Honeywell’s Total Connect Comfort app allows customers the ability to monitor and adjust their HVAC settings from anywhere through their computer, tablet or smartphone. The thermostat can even send email alerts or communicate directly via the free app, keeping homeowners apprised of any changes in their system.

The Ruud UP17 Heat Pump takes advantage of Ruud’s EcoNet technology. The Ruud EcoNet app and web portal allow owners the ability to view and control their settings from anywhere. The UP17 Achiever Plus Heat Pump works with select Ruud products and requires an EcoNet Wi-Fi Kit and EcoNet Control Center to maximize its Internet capabilities.

Both of these products work to give your customers greater control of their homes while saving on energy costs. Customers no longer have to worry about forgetting to adjust the temperature before leaving the house; they can do it from anywhere. And coming home to a cold or hot and stuffy house is a thing of the past. They can have the system adjusting the temperature as they drive home.

Help your customers save some green by going green with these Internet enabled products. Order online or visit your local Comfort Supply store today.
